What will I be able to do once I complete my course?

The N4 – N6 Educare courses prepare you for working in childcare facilities, such as crèches and ECD centres. Once you’ve completed your N6 Certificate, you can go on to earn your N6 Diploma by completing 18 months of relevant practical experience. And once you have your N6 Diploma, you can choose to further your studies at university, or you can apply for jobs such as:

Playschool Teacher
Day Care Centre Administrator
Day Care Centre Manager
Assistant Grade R Teacher

If you only complete up to N4 or N5 in Educare, you can still work in the field of childhood development. The types of jobs you can consider include:
